Statement by Georgian Dream Executive Secretary Mamuka Mdinaradze

As you know, there are three vacant positions of committee chairpersons in the Parliament of Georgia. Today marks the deadline when the Georgian Dream faction must submit candidates for all three vacant positions from among the representatives of its faction, and we are presenting our team’s decision. The following candidates will be presented to the Parliament of Georgia with my signature: Mr. Kakhi Kakhishvili as Chairman of the Regional Policy and Self-Government Committee, Mr. Irakli Medzmariashvili as Chairman of the Sports and Youth Issues Committee, and Mr. Zaza Lominadze as Chairman of the Healthcare and Social Issues Committee. I wish all three of them success. I’m certain that the Parliament of Georgia will make the decision to elect them in the next session week.
