Today is an important day for our country, a day that will determine the development of each municipality over the next 4 years.
The vote of each voter is important to ensure that the decent candidates are elected as mayors and members of the local government councils in all 64 municipalities. Accordingly, we call on voters to be active.
Today, the polling stations were opened at 8 o’clock in the morning, in accordance to the legislation, and the election procedures were conducted without any significant shortcomings, for that we thank each and every member of the election administration.
Today, it is especially important that the voters are given the opportunity to cast their vote in a peaceful and calm environment. Naturally, provocations are expected. We call on all persons engaged in the election process, especially, the members of our party and our supporters, to respond to any provocation with a maximum calmness and patience. Do not allow provocateurs to achieve their goal.We also call on the televisions belonging to the United National Movement, contrary to their established tradition, not to attempt creating a false perceptions about the election environment through artificial unrest.
We once again call on voters to be active.
We are confident that the Georgian society will give an adequate response to radical political forces and Georgian Dream convincingly win in this elections.
